Executive
The Executive branch is the largest and most complex branch of the Student Government. Four executives: President, Vice-President, Comptroller and Secretary carry out the daily interdependent duties. Each executive has their own cabinet to assist them in their duties to advocate for policy, program events, keep track of finances and communicate to the student body.
Senate
The Senate is the legislative arm of the Student Government. There are thirty seats total – five for each class, one each for SPA, SIS, SOC and Kogod, two for CAS, and four at-large.
Judicial
The Judicial Board is the third branch of the AU Student Government. It is the final reviewing body to determine the constitutionality of all bills passed by the legislature. The Parliamentarian is also a member of the Judicial Board. It is responsible for the Board of Elections and ensuring that all SG elections are fair and well-publicized. The Chair of the Judicial Board is appointed by both the Speaker of the Senate and the President of the SG.
