Seth Cutter, Candidate for President
My name is Seth Cutter, and I hope to serve the student body as the next SG President. As a rising junior, I believe I have the professionalism, leadership style, and time to dedicate to this position, as it requires. The SG is in need of a new vision; this vision should incorporate a plethora of ideas and student concerns. As President, I pledge to work closely with club leaders, the RHA, the GLC, and the Student Bar to transform the SG into a “one-stop shop” and the resource it needs to be for clubs and students. Please visit my website at http://standwithseth.org to learn where a new vision might lead us.

Jason Cunningham, Candidate for President
Jason Cunningham is an experienced Senator for Class of 2009. He is the only candidate who has served on the Campus life and Programming, Budget, and Rules and Privileges Committees. During his term as Senator, Jason has championed compromise on many important bills, working behind the scenes accomodate often drastically different points of view. He has also tried to make your student government work for you on crucial campus issues, such as mealplans, Eaglebucks accountability, and he even drafted the BRAVO Bill, a bill to bring Bravo to campus. Jason is the best candidate for the job because of his willingness to consider all points of view before making decisions, and his eagerness to focus on issues important to students. I am a member of AU’s Men’s track team and the SPA Leadership Program. Last year my issue group in Leadership helped create a community bikes program. I was also the SPA Senator last year. I have the aspiration to bring social change to this university. I want to unite the campus by providing social events that are memorable and enjoyable. Eric Goldstein, Candidate for Comptroller
I am Eric Goldstein, a freshman in SPA/CAS, and I currently serve in SG as Parliamentarian. I have the experience needed to do a good job as SG Comptroller. Last year, I served as Treasurer of a large honor society, with over 1000 members and $25,000. Despite the financial disarray when I took office, I was able to create a budget (something that had not been done in 3 years) and develop procedures for the handling of finances. This has given me the experience necessary to do an effective job managing the Student Government’s money, so that it may be used to best serve all students on campus. Madeline Tomchick, Candidate for Secretary
I am currently a junior in the Kogod School of Business and a transfer student from Pennsylvania. I am interested in the office of Secretary because I feel communication is key in the SG, since the students need to know where we have come from and where we are in order to know where to go next. I also believe in being visual to the students. My ultimate goal is to show the unity of AU and help better the campus environment. (http://american.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8527153811)
