Welcome to the Senate!
They Undergraduate Senate is the representative body of the SG that represents and works for you. We meet weekly to discuss, debate, and work to solve the issues that are most important to students at American. In the past, the Senate has taken up a variety of issues, ranging from text book prices, to shuttle services, to dining options on campus, and to the establishment of a campus-wide smoking policy.
Big issue areas emerging this year include Meal Plan Reform, AU Shuttles, and Gender-Neutral Housing.
Come join us in our meetings, which are Sundays at 2:30p in Kogod 118.

“Dig Pink” with the Women’s Volleyball Team!
On Friday at 7pm, join the Women’s Volleyball team in Bender Arena to cheer them to victory against Army! Since AU and Army are tied for first place, it is crucial to come out to this tough game. We are raising awareness about breast cancer, so wear pink instead of blue! There will be lots of free giveaways from Women’s Initiative, and admission is FREE for students with their AUID. If your parents are visiting, get them to join you in screaming your hearts out in support of one of AU’s most successful sports teams. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids and seniors, and free for AU students! See you Friday!
