Comptroller of the Student Government
Office Hours: Mondays (2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.), Tuesdays (1 p.m. - 3 p.m.), Wednesdays (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.), and by appointment
Gisselle Gladden (she/her/hers) is a senior Business and Entertainment major with an accounting minor.
As Comptroller, Gisselle oversees finances and human resources.
As Comptroller, Gisselle is excited to bring her expertise from her role as Treasurer of AU Fashion Society, the Business Manager for The Eagle, Principal Second Violin of the AU Symphony Orchestra and the Events Operations Intern for Planned Parenthood Federation of America to Student Government.
Hailing from Greensboro, NC, Gisselle has embodied AU’s commitment to public service before arriving to D.C., volunteering for her city’s Learn to Swim program teaching children and those with disabilities how to swim, teaching an SAT Prep class, playing the violin in her local church and running a non-profit with her family.
When she’s not in class, a meeting or rehearsal, you can catch Gisselle at her favorite places on or off campus: working out at Jacobs, studying in The Bridge or hanging out in Georgetown.
