Meet María Gramajo, one of the Directors for the Breaking Ground Monologues! María is a third-year studying American Studies and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences as well as a Sustainability minor in the Kogod School of Business. She looks forward to uplift the voices of other queer women of color on campus! María was born and raised in the Bay Area, and won’t let you forget it. She loves being back home in the land of good food, revolutionary music and “where ya never find a dance floor empty,” as Tupac once rapped. On the weekends, María enjoys making zines, going to museums, and taking quick trips to New York City with her friends.
