Max Robins (pronouns: he/him/his) is an exceedingly enthusiastic freshman majoring in political science. Originally from Long Island, New York, Max first became interested in politics following the February 2017 Parkland school shooting, with Max serving as the political and legislative director of March For Our Lives Long Island. Max chose to run for the AUSG Undergraduate Senate due to certain issues he believes need fixing around AU. Although he wholeheartedly loves American, he doesn’t believe that it should be defined by the problems that plague it; rather, he thinks it should be highlighted by the abundance of what makes it great. In the Senate, you can catch Max working towards reformed dining and health services, increased financial transparency and above all: a responsible administration. Outside of the Senate, Max can be found racing his bike around the DMV or fighting for Anderson and Centennial Halls in the RHA General Assembly.
