Mica Annis is a sophomore double majoring in International Service and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies from Portland, Oregon. She also is working on her certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies through the SPA Leadership Program. She had the awesome opportunity to intern at the National Organization for Women last semester, where she was able to work with feminists nation-wide and develop her own identity as an intersectional feminist. She also is a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Next semester, she will start working for Housing and Dining as an RA and at the Health and Wellness Center, where she is a Peer Wellness Educator. She loves to binge watch Black Mirror, drink way too many Chai Lattes, dance to early 2000s music and avoid studying by exploring DC art museums. Mica is so excited for this new chance to create a mentorship program through WI and believes mentorship is one of the best ways to help women succeed personally, professionally and academically.
