Vice President of the Student Government
Office Hours: Mondays (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and by appointment.
Mulan Burgess (he/him/his) is a junior Political Science and Secondary Education double major.

A New York City native, Mulan was a former member of the Undergraduate Senate (representing the Class of 2021), Vice Chairman of the Special Committee on Finance, and Associate Comptroller.
Mulan is ecstatic to serve as the Student Government Vice President because he is passionate about bringing diverse programming to campus that is a complete make-up of the student body.
He hopes in this role to push for more student’s perspective on the types of programming they want to see and provide real accountability and transparency from the university level to the
student body by bringing every voice to the table.
He formerly interned with the United States Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. As education is a passionate interest of his, you can often hear and see Mulan talking about urban education policy reform and what he hopes to do in his future. On campus, Mulan is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, American University Ambassadors, American University College Democrats, among many others.
In his spare time, you can often find him hanging out with friends in MGC.
Mulan is always excited to hear from students about their ideas for programming this school year, so please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to set a meeting with him!
