Judicial Board
The Judicial Board interprets and enforces the organization’s Governing Documents—the rules that define its structure and procedures. The Board resolves questions about these rules and investigates alleged violations. Its decisions on interpreting student government rules are final, ensuring checks and balances on the Executive and Legislative branches.
Board Composition:
The Board shall consist of (6) Associate Members, and (1) Chair. All members may be any member of the Student Body jointly appointed by the President and Vice President and confirmed by the Senate.
All appointments are confirmed by the Undergraduate Senate.
Submit an Inquiry
All students at American University are allowed and encouraged to reach out to the Chair with questions or concerns about the operations of Student Government. You may contact the Chair of the Judicial Board by emailing judicial@ausg.org.

Christopher Eagleton
Inspector
The Inspector is the leader of Student Government’s investigation team. Their job is to find when rules are broken and bring those issues to the Judicial Board.
